Sarah Gilbert, PT, MSPT, MHSA has been named president of Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital.
She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville, and her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy Administration from the University of Indianapolis, followed by a Master’s of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.
She spent 24 years with St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan where she held a number of roles, including Senior Vice President of Operations and Administrator of Cardiovascular Services. She joined Orlando Health in 2021 as chief operating officer at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. While serving at Bayfront, she oversaw the successful recruitment of physicians across several subspecialties, including bariatrics, breast radiology, electrophysiology. She also contributed to a 20 percent growth in surgical services volume and spearheaded an initiative aimed at improving corporate surgical services efficiency.
