Steve Gordon will be joining Flowers Hospital in Dothan as the new CEO this spring. He comes to Flowers after serving as CEO at Longview Regional Medical Center in Texas. Before Longview, he was the chief operating officer for hospitals in Florida and Texas.

Hospital officials say that Jeff Brannon, who took over as CEO in 2020, will step down and focus on healthcare education and business development for the hospital through its collaboration with Jersey College. Brannon will also serve on multiple appointed state and national committees.

“This transition will allow me to serve Flowers Hospital in new ways to continue the advancement of medical care here,” Brannon said. “I look forward to working with Steve to continue Flowers Hospital’s tradition of providing safe, quality care while continuing to care for patients as family.”
